AVP Crocs Tour Muskegon, Michigan
As we’ve done all season, we have AVP star Ryan Mariano giving us a recap of the latest AVP women’s crocs shoes tour stop in Muskegon, Michigan:
Muskegon, Michigan brought flashbacks of Panama City, Florida -?25 to 35 mile per hour winds and rain tore through the Thursday Qualifier and early into Friday’s Main Draw play. The howling wind even stopped the construction of the event as the crew struggled to keep tents from blowing down the beach. Lake Michigan was amazing; 4-7 foot swells made the event feel like it was on the Pacific Coast.

Wind and weather are known to spur upsets and this event was no different. In the first round, Simpkins/ Topple (25) upset Fuerbringer/Allen (8) and in the second round, Medel/ Stolfus (12) defeated Olson/ Wong (5). Fuerbringer/Allen landed in 25th after Jackson/McColloch managed to knock them out of the contender’s bracket early. On the crocs shoes, the upsets were kept at a minimum as Fontana/ Kropp fell in the second round and eventually lost in the contender’s bracket to take an uncharacteristic 17th; other than this upset, play proceeded predictably on the Women’s side.

The sun finally broke through on Saturday and Sunday; we were back in action and back to exciting volleyball. Calm winds and little pockets of rain were welcomed as more top teams felt the heat of upsets! On the Men’s side, Medel/Stolfus (12) eliminated Loomis/ Patterson (7) while Wachtfogel/Strickland (13) defeated Prosser/Brazao (9). Other top seeds dodged elimination by rallying late in the third games. On the women’s crocs shoes top teams weren’t so lucky. In the winners bracket Lima/Minello (4) defeated Branagh/ Youngs (1) sending the number one seed to the contender’s bracket for the first time all season. Lindquist sisters advanced to the semi-final, through the contender’s bracket, after a forfeit from Walsh/Wacholder, don’t worry everything is fine. Even with all of the upsets and crazy weather the volleyball world was back to normal as Branagh/ Youngs and Dalhausser/ Rogers took home the titles in Muskegon, Michigan.
Next stop the windy city!
Ryan

Glasses are an often overlooked accessory that people should learn to pay more attention to. After all, unless you frequently wear contacts, or are lucky enough to have perfect vision, chances are you will be wearing glasses every day of your life. Therefore unless you can afford multiple pairs of glasses for different occasions and to match different outfits, it’s important to give your choice in glasses the time and thought this decision deserves.
